Hello! After some stragety, help from random.org and constant nagging from matty, the groups and fixtures for the The HXF Cup January 2010 have been produced!

Structure
Each contestant will play 2 matches against 2 different players in their group. These have been decided randomly using a generator. After all the matches have been played (details on when to play and how to submit result; see bottom) the contestant with the least points (3 points for win, no draws; extra time then pens) of each group will be eliminated leaving 8 contestants for the quarter final stage. Below are the fixtures.

Organising Your Match
The 2 matches above you are involved with can only take place after Monday 8th February 2010 - 12am, and before Friday 12th February - 11.59pm. (practice matches are welcome outside of these dates)You have to get in touch with the contestants you are up against and arrange a date. GamerTag information can be found in THIS THREAD.

You need to then play a RANKED Fifa 10 match over Xbox Live choosing any LEGITIMATE team you want.

After you have had your match you need to submit a Match Report using the template below, and Private message it to AlexOC If for any reason you are unable to PM (a caution) post in the thread..

Because its the simplest and easiest way to organise a cup with 10 people. Its the only way to get it down to 8 for a knockout.

Mathew, you have been against this cup for the start, you moaned and moaned, so i proceeded to making the fixtures with 10 people, i found the easiest way to do it was doing a small group style stage with 2 matches each, its a quick effective way of narrowing it down to 8 so we can do a standard knockout. If you would like to leave then be my guest.

Anyway, i need to know if you are taking part or not, if not then its 4 in one group and 5 in the other so we will have to do a full group stage where everybody plays everybody.
