Default Question about blurays use by corportations

How come those supporting it don't merge things? I mean my doctor who bluray of the specials came with one disc for each episode, each DVD would have at least 3 each. And my TF2, the extras were seperated from the actual movie. I just don't understand why the don't use the 50gb? I didn't know where it was best suited so.

Although one Blu-ray disc could have held all the specials, they idea is that it's a collector's set, so has more content and discs to be "special". Are you that bothered by having more discs than needed? For example, most "two-disc Special Edition DVD" sets can fit all content on one disc, but because it's a "special set", they put two, so you get more physical content for your money. They're doing the same with Blu-rays.

It's not a special set it's just the episodes of the doctor who specials.

You just contradicted yourself. It's a set of specials - it's marketed at collectors.

These "specials" aren't actual specials though, they're just a series of episodes which don't fit into a series because david tennant (the doctor) was mixing in and out of dr who and theatre.

As someone who doesn't collect DVDs, Blu-rays or anything like that, I do always wish everything was on one disc whenever I've watched something with multiple discs My mate mentioned an idea whereby they should release games and movies on the same Blu-ray disc lol
