Right have they changed runecrafting or something?

Each time i go with 28 ess i end up with

I thought you got 1 rune per ess and i cant do double runes yet :S

They updated it so sometimes you have a chane to get more runes

Yepp but i believe you dont get extra exp, just extra runes not sure though.
