That is ok for your needs/ Top end budget because it is dell, not a great graphics card, but for your needs would be more than ok.

Hmm Well I am an American and if I remember right like $250.00 (amount for my laptop) is like £159.56. Its an HP G60 You might check it out. Has Windows 7 Home Premium, built in recovery drive that holds up to 11gb and the main hard drive holds 250gb (Like a Mac *ooooohhhhhhh*) You can view the specs at HPs site here:

The price may vary because I bought mine during Christmas so it may cost just right at £300
