    Default How do you change .wav to another format ?

    basically i am trying to change one of my .wav files to .mp3 but i dunno how I've read some things on the internet saying you have to get a converter do you HAVE to use a converter or is there an easier way ? without having to use itunes either

    The easiest way i came across was using a converter, try this one.

    You can do it through ITunes, or you can download a convertor. If you have ITunes then you should be able to just drag it in and convert it. I can't remember EXACTLY. But it's what I used to do.

    Go into the CD Burning preferences in iTunes and tell it to use MP3 (Yes, I did say CD Burning) then just drag the .wav file into iTunes and it will convert it to MP3

    Or you can use Audacity:

    1. Load the wave into Audacity (100% free),
    2. Click on File > Export as MP3,
    3. Choose bitrate and music name, etc,
    4. Select where to save the file,
    5. Done.
