I don't care about rep anymore, but I just saw as I logged in for the first time in ages that members can gain 30 rep points for visiting a fan site. Last I remember, the forum was pretty petty when it came to pointless rep between people.
Doesn't this just kinda go against the whole system as it isn't really how reputation points are supposed to be earned? Or is it bribery?

I think Habbox is recognising that they don't need to be so strict with rep now. There were those changes that made getting rep points more easily and there are also numerous competitions where you can win rep as a prize. Personally, I think it's a step in the right direction

Well I haven't really been active on this forum in the past year and I am just comparing what is going on now to what happened when I used to come here. I don't really know what happened inbetween those times, but they used to be pretty strict with the whole system.

they made it easier to get rep a few months back to try and give new members more reason to stay because there were decreasing new users
