Portfolio layout.. [WIP]

This is my new portfolio design. Uhm not to sure about it, i think theres alot that could be changed im just not sure what

It's nice - and very bold may I add - but there's just something about it that I don't like.

I can't quite pinpoint it either. I'll have a think and see if I can figure out why it's not clicking for me.

Try adding shadow to them two bottom boxes and post what you get. I just noticed there's shadow under the red box (and around it) but not on the other two grey boxes.

Also try flipping the shadow on the grey boxes underneath (i.e. make the left darker and the light brighter - the opposite to the red).

Post back and I'll see what's what.

Noah. I like the top bit now; but not that bottom bit. Perhaps make it slightly indented either side (based on the bars you showed in the first image - like the one that says "LOGO&BRANDING") then make it so when you click on those it drops down with an indented bit. One side of the indented bit have a light box and the right side have a dark box. Then on the right put an image in, as the image looks totally off on your second image.
