Yes, for the fourth week running we have managed to produce a list of substantial updates for you which hopefully will make the forum run smoother.

Big changes for moderation coming up following these updates along with a few more efforts to tidy the forums.

This weeks changes are:

• Infractions revamp
• Changes to 'Trading in International Hotels' forums
• 'Normal Trading' changed to 'Norm Trading'
  
• Reminder about Filtered abbreviations
• Reminder about Donator colours.

We have decided to revamp the infractions system to run more in line with the rules.

This should make the reasons for you recieving the infraction/warning a lot clearer and in the event you are confused, a lot easier for a moderator to explain.

Most of the new/changed infractions are based around the rules, for instance "Inappropriate Content" refers directly to rule A7 and A8.

Here are the infractions that you will now be issued if you break the rules:


- Accusing another member of illegal activity
- Being rude to/about other forum members
- Inappropriate Language / Avoiding the Filter
- Inappropriate Content
- Multiple Posting
- Posting a picture of another member
- Posting private content/details
- Posting to cause arguments
- Profile Rule Violation
- Feature Violation
- Bullying other members (2 points)

We have removed the subforums from 'Trading in International Hotels' as they are rarely used and we feel that it'd be easier to just have one forum for it.

We have added the prefixes:

[USA]
[CA]
and [AUS]

to make things clearer.

Just a quick reminder about the changes to the Forum Filter made yesterday by Sammeth.


The following have been re-added to the filter:

lmfao, omfg, ***

The following words (which were never permitted) have been added to the filter to avoid unnecessary rule breaking:

wtf, cbf

These are:
Pink
Dodger Blue

Okay, I'm tired

To avoid any confusion between "Normal Furniture" and "Normal Rares" we have changed the name of the "Normal Trading" forum to "Norm Trading" as this is how it is generally said on Habbo.
