Where is your windows 7 taskbar?

I've seen some screenies in the post your desktop thread and some videos on cnet and such that have the taskbar in places other than the bottom of the screen. I tried moving it to the left hand side but couldnt get used to it and the window preview things kept glitching and not going away.

If you have your taskbar anywhere other than the bottom, why do you put it there and do you find it that much better?

I have it on the left. I put it there when I had 3 screens so the vertical size was the same on all of them and after I had gotten used to it I just kept it there on my new monitor.

Also on the laptop horizontal space is more than the vertical space so I put it on the side as I seldom use more than one or two programs on that using school work.

Strangely though I prefer my Dock in OS X on the bottom

I had it like that but i hate having to hover over it then click on the window i want. never combine puts everything one click away
