    Angry 64-bit iTunes + iPod = FAIL

Kk so I have 64bit iTunes installed and when I plug in my iPod I get this message:

Yet when I downloaded iTunes off the Apple site, it was the 64bit version :/ And even in task manager it has the *32 notation :/

    Halp?

You're running the 32 bit version then, go redownload it, probably a screw up on Apple's end.

I did this when I had to help my brother set up his iPhone. It's incredibly stupid, you'd think a download like iTunes, which is just glorified bloatware (it takes long enough to download) would include both 32-bit and 64-bit in the one download, especially when the Apple website does not make it clear which one you're downloading!

    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

On the left there should be:

iTunes 9.0.3 for Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7
    iTunes 9.0.3 for Windows (64-bit)

    Select the 64-bit version.

This glorified bloatware has been working pretty good for me on my iMac for the past year and a half.
I'm not crazy, ask my toaster.
