Runescape - Problem.

Okay, this could be a problem or just silly old me

I just started playing runescape again and I've decided to be a mage this time around. I've bought and air staff. Wielded it. Have all the runes necessary for the spell. However, once I've wielded the staff it still does not cast spells. I clicked on the crossing swords and it doesn't have an option to cast a spell.

Can anyone help? o.O

I've clicked the mage book, the spell and then what I wanted to cast the spell on. I know for sure there used to be an option in the corssing swords area?

So is clicking the mage book, then the spell, then the enemy the only way to do it now?

No single click the spell on the mage book, single click = autocast, right click and select 2nd option = single attk

Alright okay, I'll try that next time I'm online. So you don't have to do it before every enemy then?

No, hence "autocast"

It magically automatically casts it
