Why do horror movies always get really stupid and boring after the original, like SAW the rest are just random stuff that doesn't really make sense, like the bit with the shot gun, why didn't he duck? And if he knew he was gonna die why not do it quicker? SAW III that's out of in case people haven't seen it. But stupid stuff happens and I was just wondering why?

It's called lack of being able to write a good script. Nothing more, nothing less.

As long as the original is good, they know that people will keep coming back to see more blood and gore. Personally it doesn't interest me in the slightest.

Because if he survived, the script would be a lot different. The SAWs are not just for the gore, there is a deeper plot involved sure that may be obscured during the blood, guts and torture *REMOVED*
Most films obtain bad sequels simply so the studios can rake in cash on them. I'm sure the studios care more about the money flowing with a bad movie than it being a sensational movie with a low income.

How was that rude? He was explaining that an eleven year-old would not be able to comprehend some of the deeper plot devices in these adult films.
