    Default Installing WoW

    Hey,

I don't have my CDs with me. Is it possible to just download the WotLK client and install that (6.4GB) or do I need to download the original client, then BC client then WotLK client?

    Thanks

If you're installing on a fresh computer that doesn't have any WoW software on it at all, the you'll need to install everything. That is:

    -Original WoW
    -The Burning Crusade
    -Wrath of the Lich King

As long as your account is valid for WotLK and downwards then you can download straight from the wow-eu website.

It's pretty dull to download everything but thats the way they roll.

I'm pretty sure I can just use their client installer and select WotLK. Seems to be working. It's installed Patch 3.2 now.

Well that may work, I honestly have no idea how big the entire thing is so the 6.4GB could be the whole package. Last time I did a fresh install I had to go block by block Vanilla->WotLK so I'm not sure if they've changed it.

It all worked straight from their client download of WotLK

That's handy to know if I decide to uninstall/reinstall!
