    Default Cheapest iMac/Macbook Pro? [REPZ+]

    Exactly as the title says.

Looking for a decent Mac to do some film editing and just to be used for everything really.

I don't want to break the bank and tbh a desktop mac (ie. iMac) would be preferred.

Thanks for all the help and +REP to all useful answers.

    Why even post here?

store.apple.com/uk and look at the lowest priced iMac/MacBook Pro, although a MacMini could quite easily do the video editing you'll be wanting to do

Bidding ended at 675. Did you go for it?

Anyway, something like that would do, but be careful, as eBay can be a bit dodgy. If you want, you could perhaps get a well-used oldish Intel Mac Pro on eBay

EDIT: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Apple-iMac-24-...ht_1320wt_1165 Consider this one. Comes with Adobe CS4 and a dual boot with Windows 7 installed on there, it's worth a shot if you can get it.
