    Default Scrubs is over :(

Zach Braff (JD) has just announced on his Facebook page that Scrubs is finally over:

Quite a sad moment really, a fantastic television programme, probably my favourite of all time. It was meant to finish at Series 8, and there was a fantastic finale to it all. But they tried to do a Series 9 with a mostly new cast and it just never lived up to the previous Scrubs. I liked it and hoped it would continue, but I'm still sort of disappointed they never finished it at the end of Series 8.

Series 9 finished last week in the US and will presumably air in the UK soon enough.

Anyone who thought it could ever live up to itself with a different cast are completely naive. I've never watched it religiously anyway so it will fill the void left on e4 by Friends, very nicely for a good few years left to come.

I loved the new series. It was the same old kind of humour with a fresh cast. I thought Series 8 was kind of bland, and it was nice seeing a set of different people.

Scrubs went down eventually in quality after Season 5 it became quite petty and fart jokes. (My Musical was great though!) S7, S8 & S9 were terrible compared to the first 5!
