Well i've been practising for about a day now... and these are my first uploads.

i agree, its a bit dark, but thanks for the reply

the iced corners are okay, there a little to bright for my liking though. try make the colours a little darker and appropiate for the white ice.
on the other hand, the imperial teleport looks kind of awful? try use more shades - i can see at least 5+ shades on the original imp but only 2 on your work.

its gd for a first try though, work on it and i'm sure you'll improve.
