"The Durex British Sex survey found that almost 30 per cent of people “could be bought for sex” for £1 million while fewer than 15 per cent would engage in sexual intercourse for £100,000. Five per cent would participate for World Cup tickets."

"The poll found that almost three in four couples talk about sexual fantasies with their partner, almost half role play, nearly a fifth wear their partner’s clothes while almost two in three admit to participating in either spanking or some kind of bondage-related sex."

Sex isn't seen as something private or special, so £1 million is easy money. As far as the person getting paid is concerned, once the dirty act is over, they have £1 million to spend and some of that could go towards their partner, if they have one. Afterall, it is just sex
