    Default Build/Buy a BMX

Ok so I have a budget of around £150.

Im looking to build a lightweight bmx with a back brake only, the bmx has to have a lightweight frame and a seat as it will be used for casual tricks and getting from a to b.

    Thanks,
    Jake!

Light weight frames cost quite a bit more than 150 pounds.

Closest you'll get to your price range is a mongoose. and they're as heavy as any other bike.

Second hand frames that have been refurbished go for around £60.

Don't even got there lad, derby are the jammiest side in the championship.

Don't get a refurbished frame, Every single one I've had has cracked within four months and unless you've had a fair bit of experience, don't build it yourself, it's a pain and never goes right first time.
