okay, so my brother just came in from school saying that hes gunna make £40 a mnth off donations from a private server on wow, and that he needs my paypal account. What is he talking about?

thats what i thought. he said "people make like £10,000 donations cos they like the game and if they donate they get better things".
i dont think he knows much about wow. :SCOS A SED SO RITE.

Yeah, until he gets sued. But tell him I send him my best wishes.
EDIT: I had a private server once. For £40/month it's not worth it - especially if you want a decent server (99.9% uptime, 24/7 etc). And rofl @ the £10,000 from donations. Apart from that, it takes a lot of effort to keep it running and go through bugs and glitches, and the only way to do that is to have knowledge of mySQL, and then to create new spawns, events, etc.Last edited by Hiro; 30-03-2010 at 04:59 PM.
