ive got an old laptop, its a medion one, not widescreen or anything so obviously its a few year old.
anyway, one day it just completely died, now ive turned it on and i have a choice to run the OS windows vista.
anyways i run it, the loading bar comes up but when thats done it just has a black background with the mouse pointer on it.
i carnt do anything, not even control, alt and delete.
any help would be great, thanks!

Can you try booting info safe mode?
