    Default Skype problem

Hi, I just re-installed Skype which I had a few months ago now

I went on the sound options to be sure my USB cam/mic was being used by the program

problem is that when i cough or something, Skype picks this up (I can tell by the green bar going up and down in relation to the volume of the sound made)

But when I go to the Skype test call, it picks up nothing!

    Can anyone help: +rep

Edit: I got it to work, but I have to hold the mic infront of my face & the sound of it is very low compared to the voice of the test call center, how can I solve this?

    Control Panel > Sound

Choose the "Recording" tab, double click your mic and drag the sound level of it up
