    Default dual-booting

Ok, i've never dual booted before so i was wondering first of all, only reason im dual booting is because WoW has stopped working, and i need to get onto my account to change the gear to sell it, getting offered lower price for other gear. So, if i dualboot windows 7 ( im using XP atm ) will i have a partion of my hard drive that is well, brand new with windows 7 on it and will i still be able to boot up windows XP with all my files still there? Or will all my files have to go if i dual boot.

I fail to see the connection between WoW not working and dual booting but oh well.

As for the dual booting, as long as you use some kind of parition program that allows your to repartition a hard drive without losing data you will be able to still boot into XP and all of your files will still be there. (gparted can do this).

well, anytime i try to patch i get a failed to apply patch error, tried everything and nothing is working, so idk the problem there so i was gonna fresh install an OS incase i had some conflict between firewalls etc, i've tried turning them off before hand aswell.
