Card won't work in PS Store

Is anyone else using a debit card? As this is supposedly the problem but I wanna see if anyone else is experiencing this.

if its since the update then its probably a problem at their end which consumers would have no control over.

My sister's boyfriend tried to add £5 on his account last night and it didn't work.

EDIT: It's now saying that they cannot be updated right now, please contact support.
