    Default My final build specs

These are the final specifications for my build, as priced up today. I cannot go over £370, but am tempted to upgrade the processor to a X2 250 (£5 more, 3Ghz instead of 2.8Ghz). Yes, 2Gb RAM is a tad low, but in a few months I plan to upgrade to 4Gb. These parts were updated recently based on recommendations by a tech friend (ie, PSU)

Just thought I'd double check that they're OK and will work together.

Save for a bit longer, you could get an awesome system for about 100 quid more.

Lol true. See if you can get a Phenom II X2 or X3 for the same money as that Athlon.

If you can find a Phenom II X2 for £50 new you'll have a new best friend for life.

I take it the DDR3 RAM will work in the motherboard? For a budget I'd probably get DDR2 RAM and more of it, especially judging by the calibre of system you're looking to build with the Athlon.
