    Does anyone know good strobe lights like they have in dance floors? My mates intrested in one and he wanted me to see if anyone knew

    No idea what would constitute a "good" strobe light as if it's strobing like it should then there can't be much quality difference but however good some might be they look mighty expensive.. might be an idea to get a few cheap ones and put them around the room rather than one expensive one at a fixed spot. Also if he's got the money it might be good to get a mushroom to go with whatever he does end up getting, having them flash through strobe gives a pretty nice effect

    Depends on the size of the venue/room.

    You could get something crappy like

    Thing to look out for with more expensive units is standalone mode with controls on the actual unit - I doubt your friend has a DMX controller.

    Altenatively, if he has more money than sense, he could get a moving head, or two or three. Very good mechanical strobe, probably too expensive though, haha.
