    Default stuck on volume please help

    I cannot do this first question as you saw i got wrong, please help with both of them

    cba with the formulae at this time but work out the volume of the cylinder and the cuboid. then take away a quarter away from the cylinder and add the new value (3/4 of the cylinder) to the cuboid. i think that's it anyway, my head is scrambled.

    Hints:
    1. Volume of cuboid = base * height * width
    2. Volume of cylinder = pi * radius * radius * height
    3. You need the volume of a quarter of the cylinder

    (pi*14*14) /4 *3 (thats the 3/4 of the circle)

    +

    28 * 28 (thats the square)

    answer * 41
