Internet speed...

I live in central London, my top speed is 8MB and it's ALWAYS between 7mb-8mb.

I'm with AOL and I've woken up to see speeds of less than 1MB?!


I'm around 1.5KM from my nearest exchange.

What could possibly be the issue!?

I think you should;
reset your router.
if you're using wireless try reseting adaptors etc/using ethernet
phone them.

In this case you're best hope is ringing up your ISP and explaining it to them. They'll be able to remotely run tests and tell you what's going on.
