Pokemon championships qualifier

So, It's in Birmingham on the 29th May. I'm going, not sure if I will take part.. Who else is going?

What is it like a battle of pokemon on ds? Like via tht cable thing it used to be on gba

1v1 flat double battle using ds, you just turn up with this already filled in forn and, yeah

If I had a DS and one of the new games I'd definitely go in for this, I bet it'll be a pretty good time, unless you're against people who have like double legendaries or something

As far as I'm aware legendaries aren't usually allowed in these competitions, along with various hold items and such. Still likely that anyone serious about winning will have hacked their EVs (or whatever the new-gen version is) to have max stats on everything

Oh yeah, I found a website on that where it tells you how to manipulate the EVs so they level up in a certain way. Kinda takes the fun out of training up your pokemans

I won't be going either, it's not my sort of thing. There wouldn't have been much of a point of me going anyway as my pokemon are so low levelled.
