Default What can I add to cancercaps.co.uk?

    http://cancercaps.co.uk/

Is a charity fundraiser website I made for my brother who does charity work. Information about it is on the website.

We are gaining massive hits EVERYDAY and have made £72.28 in donations in just a week and a half.

Just wondering on what I can add to make it more helpfull etc.

    All ideas appreciated!

Doesn't really look like a charity websites to be honest..

    www.cancercaps.co.uk
    www.cancerresearchuk.org/

See the difference, looks like your site was made by a HxF website designer, and probably was.
Doesn't look professional enough to be a charity website, if those are the right words - although i admire what your brother is doing, good luck with it all.

It was designed for a target audience of kids, so its pixely and colorful. Where as cancer research has gone for a more professional look as its aimed at adults.

    Appreciate the feedback thanks

I wouldn't design like that for that demographic. I appreciate it's a charity website and I respect that, but you should consider redesigning.

I think you should get a nice banner/logo. That'd improve it a lot.

Hm... the domain name is harshly sounding, not harsh as in OMG THAT'S HARSH TAKE IT DOWN

i mean harsh as in the sound of it, two k sounds never really work together, but if its working, well done.

the banner could be redone so that it's not stretched and the colours would put me off as an adult because it doesnt look... professional enough, and would stop me from donating.

good luck, a very worthy cause.

oh and the fact you have said to leave your address in the shoutbox. has put me off instantly. sorry. i would never post my address online in a publicly visible place?

I would suggest changing the header on top of the page, just doesn't fit in. It also looks too habboey. The rest is nice thought, good work.

It doesnt say leave address in shoutbox, its on about the paypal comment box.

ps: things such as the name wont be changed. Its called that for a reason and thats because he is going to start selling caps (because summer is approaching) and all money will go to charity.

I fail to see why a charity website would be aimed at kids.
