Growing up, many people can’t face it, they just think it will be as easy as pie, everything will be to their liking, everyone will get on, your boss will like you, if you want days off, you can have them, if you don’t get with someone you can just move jobs. What if a Recession hits again? What are you going to do? Go on the dole? Live off Council Money, I think not. There will be nobody to hold you, nobody too fall back on, and nobody will care.
Dole means to live off the state (Council Tax etc...)
If somebody you know closely passes away, you won’t be allowed to have a grieving period, if you do, you’re fired, Big Hotshot Bosses don’t give a **** about your emotions, and it’s all about the moolah, the dosh, the money, not you.
Most of you will think, that’s Harsh! They can’t do that, well, to be honest, they can do Whatever the **** they want. They own you. They pay for the roof over your head, the food you eat, the water you drink, the gas you use. If you get fired, say goodbye to your ideal life. Between ’09 and ’10 3,500,000 people lost their jobs. That’s a 20th of the Population in our country.




Im Basically saying how people cannot face the truth of growing up and the future.

Although I seriously disagree with your point on the 'grieving period'. It truly depends on your boss, you can't really make a sweeping generalisation.

People may be naive and think life will be good, but whats better - thinking life will swing your way and trying your best to make sure it does, or forever being pessimistic because it doesn't? Life's to short to sit there and be bitter, the only way to get things done is to be realistic and positive.
But hey that's just my opinion.

I'm slightly confused behind the point of this but I'm afraid I have to disagree with the "grieving period".

You're right in a sense - some people's employers don't give a hoot about the fact someone close has passed on - however, bereavement is a valid reason for taking time off and every decent employer, caring or otherwise, should respect this and grant the requested time off accordingly. It's not Nazi Germany we're living in.
