I'm looking at cars to get a rough estimate, nothing too old; I've looked at autotrader, anything else like autotrader?

Piston Heads has tonnes of cars for sale, however it's aimed at the performance market so you might need to search hard for something more "first car"ish.

You could also give eBay Motors a shot, that's pretty good nowadays

However, Auto Trader is definitely the best, stick with that. Have a look through the magazine often aswell, some people opt to just putting their car in that and not the website.
