On my 3rd restore

Oh Hi There

So i am about to do my 3rd computer restore. This is because for some reason i keep getting a virus. I am not the type of person who will download limewire, search a song then download the zip file saying '100% working song" or download and run the .exe file that somebody has sent me through msn saying, 'omg i cant believe this is a pciture of you lmao omg mgomg!' The latest one is one of those things where if keeps popping up advertisements in internet explorer and its really getting annoying.

At the moment i have AVG Free and Microsoft Security Essentials, and i want to know, when i do my restore which security, virus and adware programs should i download from the start, i want them to be free.

I had this once but on firefox, use google chrome and download avast its free

When you say restore do you mean system restore or reinstalling Windows?

If you're just using system restore then the virus has probably embedded itself within the restore points. This means that it will keep coming back.

I've never known System Restore to fix a virus.

To get rid of the virus, do the Jewish Bear.

Wait, i dont know.

I use my 3 windows 7 install discs i made when i first got the comp to re-install windows.

Thought it was called restore, sorry.
