Paul Grey of Slipknot found dead

Des Moines, Iowa; May 24, 2010 -- A local hotel worker found the bassist dead this morning. Paul Grey, known as #2, or "The Pig" in the self-titled years, the lively bassist from Los Angeles who relocated with family to Des Moines and joined Slipknot and has played for the entire Slipknot career up to this point. Paul had a darker side to his life, dealing with drugs and alcohol abuse, and then getting married and expecting a child with his wife, Brenna, later this year.
I first saw Slipknot at Dotfest 2 in 1997, shortly after they formed and right before they were signed. Clown came out and moshed with the crowd, and Pig had his pig mask on and was WICKED on the bass!
Paul will be missed.

What's the source, Graham? Not my cup of tea but RIP. They are a popular band with many and Graham don't you think it is a little disrespectful just to make a comment like that after somebody's death?

That is horrible to say after someone has died. We all have different musical tastes and you should respect that.

Pretty sure Slipknot aren't an emo band.
I never really liked Slipknot, but I'm guessing this will be the end of them

Some people are messed up, Paul Gray is an amazing bass player, whether you like Slipknot or not sitting saying "I hope they stop making music" is just sick, I hope you have a nice time rotting in hell, at the moment nothing official has come from Roadrunner or Slipknot themselves so alot of people are still skeptical, although I'm fairly convinced he's dead, amazing band lost and amazing bass player.

Also Slipknot are not "emo", if you want emo go check My Chemical Romance and Bring me the Horizon. :rolleyes:
