Do you give money to homeless people?

When you see them on the street do you give them money/food/drink or just ignore them?

If it's early, late, windy, rainy or really hot I have been known to give the tramps non alcoholic drinks because i'm nice

No, I tend to ignore them. 80% of the time I smell alcohol on their breath.

One time a mate of mine gave about 40p to a homeless guy he said cheers and walked off. Then we did a circle came back and in his hand was a bag of weed.

No most of them spend it on alcohol, it's actually really annoying when they don't do anything and just sit they're saying "spare some change love." This guy plays a guitar outside the metrolink i always give him money because he's actually doing something instead of sitting there begging.

A friend of mine bought a big issue the other day, whereas I just thought he was weird lols, I generally feel guilty but ignore them.

I don't, no - they just spend it on ridiculous things.

I see them loads on the Tube and everything but it never phases me to give them money, because what I think about is "what if they have a drug obsession" or something along those lines... I could be paying for cigarettes/booze.

I don't give money to homeless people because they would spend it on useless stuff. Homeless people usually spend it on cigerettes because cigerettes fill you up more than food. And plus I'm not a millionaire
