David Laws Resigns

Just been confirmed he's going to resign over the expenses issues with his partner. Complete farce if you ask me, all of Cameron's cabinet (and Browns) have expenses issues, if he has to resign so should all of they.

This is a right mess, if it weakens this coalition I suppose it's a good thing though.

It doesn't even seem like he was out to rob the tax payer, he's a millionaire and seemed to be doing it to hide his sexuality but I need to look into it a bit more to reach a decent conclusion.

Of course he was out to rob the tax payer. If he wasn't he would of just payed the rent out of his millions. Shame on him.

only just found out. anyway, rumours spread that he paid £40k to his "gay lover" as I read on a website, thats why he resigned.

I agree, to an extent. Things would have been much better if he had come out from the beginning. Equally though, having been through that situation myself, I recognise how difficult it is and that is even more applicable to someone in his position.
