Hello, I've been doing basic cardio for a few years now. Basic being a 1-2 mile run, 3 days a week. Usually around the weekend and a day before or after. I'm going to start going to the gym, primarily to put a bit of muscle on, not exactly the biggest guy in the work. I'm going to go to gym every Monday (starting from next) with friends, currently planning a workout routine to take up and I'm also going to start home gym on Thursday as my dad has the majority of the basic equipment needed when it comes to weights and stuff. My friends told me not to overdue cardio as they said it would eat at my muscle tissue, they've been going to the gym for about 5 years now. I've changed my cardio up a bit now, every day I'm not attending gym I'd be doing about a 10 mile cycle every morning with a friend. Do you see anything wrong with this, I'm fairly slim (115lbs) and fairly small (5'6) so I'm a bit concerned. I dont have much muscle but I'm not fat either.
Thanks.
