I've been thinking, whenever I have something to ask about the forum my automatic instinct is to post it in Habbox Feedback (like a thread I made earlier). I understand how this is incorrect and therefore the thread was moved to Questions/Queries about Habbox, so I posted my next one in the correct location. However, so many times I see threads on the New Posts list which contain various questions from members that I may happen to know the answer to but when I go to reply, I realise that it is in Questions/Queries about Habbox and therefore I am unable to.
My thought is that it would be more beneficial to the forum to *either* allow members to reply to threads in Questions/Queries about Habbox and it's various department-specific subsections or simply merge this section and Habbox Feedback into the same thing. To be fair, I would say a substantial amount of threads that are left in the feedback forum are in fact questions or queries anyway - I would even go so far as to suggest that there are possibly more threads of this nature than actual pure 'I like Habbox' feedback.
Not only would it benefit the members who I see posting questions but when I'm posting my own, the reason I tend to go for the feedback forum rather than questions/comments is because you're more likely to get a quicker response. I'm not saying staff are slow to respond, but by definition it is far more productive to throw a question at thousands of potential respondents who may or may not be able to help rather than just a small handful of specialists. Half the time you may ask a question while at the same time hoping for the views of other members on the topic but still expecting an overall answer from the appropriate member of staff, so you won't want to post it somewhere that doesn't allow members to respond.
So, did any of that make sense?![]()
