    Default Home depression

Lately I've been really depressed when I'm home, like I'm fine at school then on the way home I feel rubbish and that I don't want to go home at all. We've had family problems in the past and my dad never understands anything me or my sister says. I just don't know what to do any more. I want to move out from this house but I obviously can't. Any ideas to get rid of this stupid depression?

Go out with your friends more or go for a walk

It's what I do when i feel like crap, it clears my head and makes me feel refreshed

I've been doing that but they're always drinking or smoking.
Pretty pathetic for their age and it makes me even more stressed that they're doing it.

Try speaking to your parents, your Dad in particular. Tell him how you feel. I'm sure he'll try his hardest to make you feel better/sort out the problem.
    hehehehehehehehehe

tell him straight what the problem is. say that it involes your sister too. don't hesitate in what you're saying just say it confidently, that way the message might sink in

I understand what you mean but, you have to know my dad to do that. He's never been the type of person to explain things to. If he doesn't like something, he'll never change his mind. We've tried talking to him but he just carries on in this stupid strop. Thanks anyway, +rep for trying to help. I can't +rep special atm have to spread a little first. I won't forget so yeah thanks.

Well, my step mum won't say anything to him because she's scared or something?

She's not as bothered with it as I am. She's moving to London soon for Uni etc.
