Portable will be compressed so a very small file size so that you can put it onto a USB stick. It then installs it into the temp folder.

Whereas a normal version would install it onto your C drive and you can run it without having to decompress it.

    Hope that helps!

I have PS4 Portable and PS4 Normal, I find that Normal does not crash as much as the file sizes are big and healthy whereas the portable is not stable but for an on the go program i would definitely recommend portable. With the features side of it there isn't and difference

I think portable is just smaller in size, not sure.

Portable is also unofficial and might have been modified in any way possible
