I was at the game when England beat them 3-0 at Wembley but there obv won't be a repeat of that. USA beat Spain in the Confederations Cup last year and are a very strong and organised side not to be taken lightly. I hope Lennon is up against Spector, Lennon absolutely pisses all over him every time they face eachother.

I disagree Jack, I am very optimistic and I predict a 3-0 England win. Like the guy said on SSN, the only biggish game we've played in the last 18 months or so, that meant anything was against Croatia (who before you say they're not a big team, have quality players and it was because of them we didn't qualify for Euro 08) we beat them proper!! That was the only game they've been in a must win frame of mind. The USA game will be the same. People have lost their optimism after the recent friendlies which mean sweet **** all.

Please read the first post in that thread.

I'm not saying we can't beat them I'm just saying that the USA won't roll over as some people think.

Edit: Loads of places saying SWP starting ahead of Lennon. WHAT THE ****!!!

I reckon they're well up for it and one or two of ours could be a bit shaky so I'm sticking with 2-1 us

to be honest i have no idea what will happen and thats what this sport is like, i mean look at the 1st two matches. how many of you predicted those results? I will admit I want USA to win because if England win, knowing the English you'll bloat about it for years.

Americans would be worse, I'd never be able to go on XBL again.
