why did HxF upgraded to vB 4.0, instead of staying on 3.8 or whatever?

I don't entirely know the precise reasons, Jamesy or Jin will give a better answer although I'd imagine it'd be to keep up with security patches and other updates.

Probably around that reason. Even if we didn't go to Vbulletin 4 straight away, I'm sure it would of been done further down the line anyway. Products get old and you replace them with new ones, same reason applies to going to Vb 4 really. Originally Posted by Saurav
