Had this ice-cream parlour open since around 2008 and have added additions so here's all the screenshots I have lol

2008 :- (Won a Competition, prize was the pink Icm)

I like the first one better... The 2010 one is just... Too dulll?
the white in it makes it feel way too spacious, and you don't tend to find windows like that in Ice-cream parlours in real life...

2009 - Alright
2010 - Bit too plain

it's ok, but you shouldn't have removed the yellow rugs

even better, use multicoloured rugs

i prefer the 2nd one
2010s is just bad , you've removed the colour and flair from it when you took away the rugs, and it looks silly how the petals just end. you had a good balance in 09.

for some reason i like the 2010 one
but just looks a little bit plain now but still ok

You're really dedicated to still have it open today.. but yeah it does look so different - I like the 08 & 09 one better.

As for the layout of the room, I prefer the second one but I think the selected wallpaper in the first one is probably best. What I don't like in the 2010 one is the change in flooring from yellow rugs to polished tiles. Also, 1800 teles would probably look better because of the blank side on the childline ones and I don't like the window/curtains. And the staff area, I don't like the way it stacks so that u can't see what's behind it. I'd say take the best bits from the 2008/2009 ones and combine them +rep.
