    Would it be possible to change my laptops graphics card from Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500M to an higher nvidia card?

    The graphics chip in a vast majority of laptops are soldered on to the motherboard making it impossible to replace.

    However, if your laptop has an expresscard slot you may be able to buy a better, external one.

    Did a quick google, the graphics chip is soldered onto the motherboard looking at the G550 specs
