    Default I don't fear Argentina.

I fear Germany. I don't fear Spain, or Brazil. I'm a wee bit worried about Netherlands.

Argentina are weak in defence. We play the right formation and people and I've no worries. Spain and Brazil have both proven to be beatable. Brazil are vulnerable to width, if you really get at the fullbacks. We can beat Spain with alot of work on set pieces and alot of organisation. Netherlands aren't great, but they worry me for some reason. :S But Germany. Oh, they scare me. It's the efficiency of them. They always stay switched on and seem to have a knack for winning.

This isn't me bigging up England, just saying if we play our best I can't see why we can't beat Argentina. So stop your fussing. CHILL.

Argentina's defence isn't great as you've said. Samuel is the only decent one.

I'm worried we won't take advantage of the **** RB they play, who is left footed, and is actually a LM I think. We need to contain Messi, and close them down quickly. We can beat them I have no doubt about it, but i'm worried Cole and Johnson might be exposed if they go forward too much. Argentina play with a RM, LM, and 3 strikers.

Germany, I think the inexperience will get to them. In 4 years, I think they'll go all the way.

Brazil are still strong I think but not unbeatable although there defence is hard to break as they play two holding mids.

I think Spain are tricky to judge at the moment.

Netherlands will win it imo. Well behind England of course. They are quietly winning their games and haven't even got Robben and a fully fit RvP yet.

I think the Argentina match would be the perfect time for my 5-2-3 formation. ^_^

    ---------- Rooney ------- Milner
    Gerrard -----------------------------
    ----------- Lampard
    Barry
    -----Cole ------------------------------ Johnson
    Upson - Terry - Dawson

Gerrard to cut in from the wing behind Rooney, draw that RB in, then have Cole on the overlap, exposing the space. 5 men in defence keeps things tight on the counter, and Cole and Johnson, up against Messi and co. should show them down the wing. That box will be packed, I'm relatively confident that with Terry in the box we can deal with the crosses.

If Jonas Gutierrez is playing at RB then I guess J Cole would be the most appropriate person to play on the left. His trickery could also earn us some free kicks (and maybe even a penalty).

Their defence could've even been better if Maradona had taken Zanetti. But nooo he wants the Argie Bargies to play with 4 CBs along the back line.

The Netherlands defence isn't actually too bad. They have a solid defence, no-one really stands out but it works really well as a team. They have two very good holding mids as well that help out.

Well really it's a LM, CB, CB, CB

Zanetti and Cambiasso would have been so much better but oh well, I think it will show later on that they aren't as good as people think they are.
