Default [Boys Only] How many of you

Are genuinely not straight, and know for sure that you're not. Over the past fiveish years it seems like the sexuality of the boys at Habbox has swayed from mostly straight to something else. I know there's another thread with a sexuality poll, but it's not anonymous, and here you can explain as to whether or not you think the Habbox community and people here gave gad an influence on your sexuality?

There seams to be a lot more gay / bi people in general.

Well, I think there are just more open about it.

People often tend to think they "know for sure" even when they don't - we as humans don't like accepting the fact that we don't have total knowledge of anything, let alone of ourselves. Spin back 5 or 6 years and I'd probably have adamantly argued for my bisexuality, whereas now I'm as certain as I can be that I'm simply straight, maybe with a couple of odd tendencies.

Well most people either don't know for sure and they probably want it to be personal. Now, we do get more gay people on the forums and there is totally nothing wrong with that! Anyways, I am straight!

When going through puberty, it is normal to be attracted to people of the same sex. With the average age of Habbox users getting younger (where they are hitting puberty), more and more people think they are "bi" when indeed, they do not know for sure.

I used to think I was Bisexual but now I am concretely sure I am Gay.

I don't think its that Habbox has had an impact on anyones sexuality, rather the other way around. On Habbo there is no fixed objective to complete which makes it a game more attractive to girls and perhaps more feminine guys, this means that the kind of guys that play Habbo are more likely to be Gay. This is a large generalisation and of course I'm not saying all guys who play Habbo are feminine just an above average percentage. As for the rise of homosexuals on Habbox I think its because 5 years ago Habbox had a largely younger user base of 12 and 13 year olds who had not yet been through puberty, now a lot of us are older we have recognised our sexuality and come out as it were .

Totally agree with this, I don't think a forum can influence a persons sexuality. I don't think Habbo does either, I just think it attracts more homosexuals due to the creativeness and the whole environment. Of course some homosexuals aren't into that and many heterosexuals are so I'm generalising but I think it's fair to say, there is an abnormally high number of gays on Habbo. Bare in mind people are far more likely to come out online, so there will always appear to be more gays online than there in real life. For instance I only speak to about 10 people online, 4 of them are gay. Yet in real life, I only know one person in my year group who is gay

I'm unsure whether anyone can be 100% straight, late 90s perhaps? But anyways it's never been an issue for me and I've never thought otherwise.

I am 100% not straight. Whilst I don't believe anyone can personally say they are 100% inclined either way, as far as I can say it I am gay. I can see when women are attractive and can see "sex appeal" as it were but don't have any desire to engage in sexual activity with them.

It's not always been that way though, I've flicked from straight to bisexual to a brief straight period and now I am gay. I guess throughout puberty I was always sure I was gay but didn't want to totally identify as gay. I have slept with women in the past but now the idea is not appealing at all and I can't see myself having a sexual relationship with a female at any point in my life.
