Dream Theater

Hey, wondering if theres any Dream Theater fans on the board. Interestingly I used to hate them a lot. In the early days of my online station I had someone requesting them all the time, and often had to stop playing some simply because of their length. I think that might have been what put me off in the first place, but when i started listening to them proper I really got into them. Discovered someone I work with was a big fan and went to see then as the Progressive Rock Nation tour in Glasgow last year and loved it.

They've often been seen as kind of adult rock - although they have changed and implented a lot more metal into their stuff, a lot of their old stuff was more rock, with people classing them as quite mature.

I suppose its the wrong forum to talk about stuff like this. But I can't see how its awful. Everyones to their own taste - but the guitar solo is just amazing, so beats all this chart crap.
