    Default Avoiding Hair Damage

    oh HI

I have grown ma air for a bit now, and want it with like a fringe flicked to one side

Then before, i was in my sisters bedroom, cos she stole the big mirror from the bathroom, and i was getting ready, and i saw her straighteners, so i had a go, and they make ma fringe look cool.

Anyway, i know some friend who have dyed and straightened and done all sorts to their hair, and its really damaged :/ I really dont want it to get like that, but i am thinking of straightening it more now, and maybe dying it a tad darker..

How can i avoid it getting burnt, split or generally damaged>

    Much love, Alex.

Well it would probably be a temp one to test the colour, then a permanent one. Done proffesional and all.

And i thought like straightening everyday damanged it badly?

How do you get burnt ends?

I straighten and blow-dry my hair every day and it looks fine. You get damage repair shampoos and sprays which you should use if you're worried.
Don't over-dye or keep bleaching and stripping your hair, that's asking for hell!

for staightening, simply use heat protector - not a cheap one & not the most expensive

for hair dye, i wouldn't recommend that at all unless you desperately want it dying. the reason for this is that once you have dyed it once, it's a vicious circle because you have to keep dying it every few weeks to maintain the colour to stop the roots from showing their natural colour

if you do decide to dye it, just make sure the hair dye is fully set/absorbed before you continue straightening it - after a few washes should be fine

Well my hair is like a dark blonde, i can keep it that colour happily, if its too much effort dying.

So like straightening once a day is fine?
