    Default Ear stretching

So i'm like halfway through stretching my ears up (4mm at the moment) and i was just wondering if anyone else here has any tips for stretching easier or already has stretched ears and just generally any pointers.
I'm thinking of going to either 6mm, 8mm or 10mm, what would be best?

What are your opinions on stretched ears?

I have no problem with them, I think they look awesome. Whenever someone posts a stretched ear thread on here tonnes of people come on and flame so don't rise to the bait if it comes.
In terms of tips, I don't have stretched ears, but I know a lot of people that have stretched them upwards of 20mm, and they've always said the best way is to leave two or three weeks before going up a size to allow your ears to heal over. Also take them out and wash them every so often, because they begin to stink like crazy

Be wary that after around 10mm it's likely that they won't ever close up entirely. Back when I actually wore something in mine it was a 12mm plug and now over 3 years after taking it out there's still a 6mm hole and yes definitely don't try doing it too far too quick or you'll just rip your earlobe which isn't pretty

Ah yeah thanks guys, i have done some research about it and not going up to quick etc, just wanted some tips, like im not sure if going from 4mm-5mm is too big of a jump or if i should try and get a 4.5mm, but none of the shops round my area sell them in half sizes after 2.5..

have also been wondering about where to get like a lube or something for the taper to go in because i've been finding the last 2 sizes ive gone havnt been that it hurts when trying to get them in but that they just get stuck a bit and it pulls and that...

Also i think i will go to about 10mm or 12mm, not entirely sure but i heard you can get them stitched up to make them re-heal (after having the skin on the inside cut so that its like fresh flesh to re-attatch too)

I think that i'll wait a good couple of weeks or so for these to heal properly as i went from 2.5 - 4mm in about 3 weeks which probably wasn't the best idea but yeah.
    thanks guys!

Going up a mm or 2 in a session shouldn't be too bad as long as you give it plenty of time to sort itself out before going up again. If you've got a taper then literally anything that lubricates can be used, even water works tbh, but if it really isn't going then it's probably best to plug it as far as you've got rather than trying to force it

Isn't like over 10mm then it doesn't go back? I think it looks alright, but when it gets over like 20 it looks quite silly.

Do you go up 2mm a time? I heard if you go up some silly amounts each time your ear will rip.
Sounds like someone wants to get.... funky.

Can't say I like them. The smaller ones are alright but when they get pretty big it looks horrible imo

Yeah, 1mm at a time sounds good. If you're using a taper, my friend used to gradually stretch it over a couple of weeks, like slowly move it up, leave it to heal for a few days, and move it again. Like I said, he got to about 20mm and he still had tonnes of ear flesh left, if you do it too quickly your ears will thin out and eventually rip
