Subject: A fresh change, with the departure of Ludus/Stuey!
Looks like Jake is back on there...Hi there,
If you've not noticed already, there was a major change in HabboForum last night! It marked the departure of Stuey (known to most as the former A. Hotel Manager of Habbo UK Ludus) as day-to-day and long-term direction of the HF project passed over to two new owners Immense (immenseman/Claim) and Kyle (surf.mad.kyle).
It's quite a big change, but one that was made in the interests of our loyal and commited users, who (since our launch in January) have shown immense faith in the project. I personally believe it's a step in the right direction.
What does this mean? Well, I hold my hands up and say that I didn't do what I could creating a content based, cherished Fansite for a great website, Habbo. I wanted to create a fun community which worked collectively to create a nostalgic encyclopaedic content based site - and it's with great sadness I relinquish the decision making process to those more capable.
So as I go forth on new projects (some would say I should've walked away when I left my role at Sulake and hey, perhaps you were right!), I firmly believe the new set up will mean some great fresh changes for you! More jobs, more features, more lively discussions and competitions! I'll still be around though, you can't get rid of me that easily! I'll be posting around when I can and will be advising Immense & Kyle should they need some advice! I just won't be seen in a management/owner way anymore!
I love HabboForum and I look forward to seeing what they can do!
Stuey
