Take it in your stride. Try hinting, but try get him to tell you he likes you frist, that way you don't jepordise your friendship and you know he likes you back.
I'm guessing your abour 13? If I'm wrong correct me. Just take your time, if you've been like this for ages why not make a move. He could just say no, but if you are that good friends he won't be taken aback if he doesn't like you back.
